The Restaurant & Bar
The heart of The Harrow at Bishopstone, the Restaurant & Bar is located within the original 19th-century building. The generous space combines modern comfort with classic features including a cosy log burner, stone floors, exposed brick walls, and oak beams.
It offers an elegant yet relaxed setting for lunch or dinner with friends and family. In the summer months, air conditioning ensures a cool and comfortable dining experience. Dogs are welcome in the bar area.
The Lodge
Our cosy oak-framed, alpine-inspired Lodge is the centrepiece of the garden and a unique space to enjoy throughout the year. Whether for a relaxed lunch, Sunday roast, special event, or private gathering, it offers a welcoming setting in every season. It plays host to many of our best-loved events, as well as our live music summer sessions, and well-behaved dogs are always welcome.
With its own dedicated bar and kitchen, the Lodge is ideal for larger gatherings and celebrations. It is available for exclusive use, so if you are planning an event for more than 30 guests, please visit our Large Group Bookings page for more details.
The Conservatory
With its sliding glass wall panels, retractable roof, and heaters for cooler evenings, our stunning Conservatory offers a stylish and comfortable dining setting in any weather. As an extension of the main restaurant, it is served by our full à la carte menu throughout the day.
The Conservatory is extremely popular, so please select the correct area when making your reservation.

Beer Garden & Patio
Our patio and spacious beer garden offer a relaxed spot for drinks and dining in an idyllic village setting. With picnic benches on the lawn and parasol-covered tables on the patio, it is the perfect place to unwind, whether you are joining us for lunch, a drink, or a leisurely afternoon in the sun. Simply order at the bar and we will bring your food to the table.
Our garden and patio tables are not available to book, making them ideal if you are looking for a last-minute lunch or stopping by after a walk with your dog. And yes, four-legged friends are very welcome. We even offer a dog-friendly menu, with everything from snacks to more substantial meals such as “roast dinner” and “fish and chips”.
